The inaugural "Casks of Lindores" expression that's finished in bourbon barrels, one of the three standard options, and there were only 11,000 bottles available. Our team found the character of Lindores to be perfectly complemented by bourbon casks, illustrating its propensity for early maturation.
The very long wash fermentation period in our Douglas fir washbacks, coupled with our “Sister Spirit stills distillation” helps create a spirit that matures early but we also believe will continue to develop over time.
Nose: Pleasant mellow fruity apples, ripe banana, sweet pears and vanilla, buttercream and caramel notes with subtle citrus touches.
Palate: Fruity green apples, citrus lemon, banana, vanilla, oaky woody notes, coffee beans and spicy peppery touches. Pleasant silky texture.
Finish: Medium
