Bodega Martinez Lacuesta has been making vermouth since 1937. Over the decades, they have maintained their traditional formula, which includes up to 24 different plants and aromatic herbs.
Every year, six barrels of the finest French oak are held back in order to extend the ageing of our vermouth to 14 months. This limited edition Vermouth has a more Riojan, more “winey” character. A veritable jewel in the crown of Bodega Martinez Lacuesta.
Tasting Note: It has an iodine-tinged mahogany colour, with notes of chocolate, raisins and cherry liqueur in the nose. On the palate it is silky, generous and perfectly balanced, with morello cherry notes and a bitter finish. As well as being the ideal aperitif, it can also be enjoyed as a dessert wine in a small frosted glass.
