Starward Dolce Australian Single Malt Whisky, 48%

A complex and delicious Single Malt all the way from the Port of Melbourne Australia. Melbourne's notoriously changeable climate results in whiskies which mature at a much faster rate than the more traditional whisky-making climates.  The Dolce is initially matured in wet-fill Barossa Valley Red Wine casks, before being transferred into locally made, sweet and delicious Sicilian Dessert Wine casks.

A rich, dried fruit, cola, toasted marshmallow and marzipan sticky sweetness shines through this excellent single malt. Unctuous and well balanced, the bright fruit and complex sweetness will make this a perfect post-dinner accompaniment to a cheeseboard.
