Stauning Kaos Triple Malt Danish Whisky

A curious but delicious marriage of Danish Single Malt, peated single malt, and malted rye whisky from Stauning, the Kaos is a seriously impressive whisky. All the barley and rye used in this whisky is harvested locally and floor-malted at the distillery. It's double-distilled in small, open-fired pot stills and matured for 4-5 years in Virgin Oak and ex-bourbon barrels. A gorgeous, malty, slightly peppery whisky, this has smoky chocolate, nougat, caramel and sweet oaky spice, with a wispy hint of bonfire smoke in the background.
