Wire Works Caduro English Single Malt Whisky, 46.8%

A truly superb English Single Malt whisky from White Peak distillery in Derbyshire. The flagship whisky for the distillery, Wire Works Caduro is made using British barley, peat malted to 10 PPM and matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and STR Wine casks.

Presented in a beautiful twisted bottle, the design is inspired by White Peak disillery's home in a disused wire making factory on the fringes of the Peak District National Park.

Tasting note from Manager Will: 

Nose: Gorgeous nectarine, mango, and golden fruits, vanilla fudge, eucalyptus, and a green, earthy, pepper tone from the soft peat

Palate: Gently sweet, ripe and fruity with a lovely rich feel - lemon curd meets apple pie and honey.

Finish: Lovely golden fruits with a gingery warmth and the re-emergence of the soft vegetal, mossy, wispy smoke.
