Glencadam Reserva de Madeira is a beautifully balanced Single Malt Scotch Whisky that celebrates the art of slow, traditional craftsmanship. This expression captures the distillery’s signature orchard fruit character and elevates it with a luxurious Madeira cask finish that adds warmth, spice, and richness. Each small batch is hand-selected by the Master Distiller, matured first in American oak ex-bourbon casks before being transferred into fine Madeira wine casks from Portugal’s Madeira Islands. The result is a complex yet harmonious spirit, brimming with layers of baked fruit, toffee, and spice. Bottled at 46%, unchillfiltered and naturally coloured, Glencadam Reserva de Madeira retains every nuance of flavour.

Production:

The whisky is crafted in the time-honoured fashion within Glencadam’s traditional dunnage warehouses. Matured initially in hand-selected ex-bourbon barrels, it is then finished in Madeira wine casks, where it absorbs the rich, nutty sweetness and depth of Portugal’s fortified wine. This dual maturation imparts distinctive notes of dried fruits, mocha, and spiced chocolate, creating a multi-layered Highland malt of remarkable finesse.
